Kyrenia (Girne) is a fascinating town located on
the northern coast of North Cyprus in a setting of

One of the attractions of Girne is its historic castle

still retains all its magnificence today. The tiny
horseshoe shaped harbour of Kyrenia is bordered by

There are several mosques and churches to see in the
town, and the Museum of Folk Arts, and of Decorative
Arts and Painting are well worth a visiting. You can
also visit the St. Hillarion castle and buffofanto
castle in the east of Girne. Also,not to be missed
are the historical sites of Bellapais Abbey to the

| The average annual temperature is about 20C /68F. Summers
are hot with July and August averaging over 30C / 90F. The
coldest months are January and February with an average temperature
of 10C / 50F. The sea temperature is the warmest in the Mediterranean,
ranging from a mean average of about 16C / 61F in January,
to 32C / 90F in August. |

| HOW TO GET THERE |
|
By Air
- North Cyprus has direct air links only with Turkey,
where all planes from Europe must first touch down. From
Turkey, you can choose from a number of scheduled flights
from Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Adana and Antalya. The
two airlines with scheduled flights to Northern Cyprus
are Cyprus
Turkish Airlines and Turkish Airlines. These airlines
provide regular scheduled daily flights to Ercan Airport
from the
UK, Turkey and Germany.
By Sea
- There are also ferryboats
running from the Turkish ports of Istanbul, Antalya,
Mersin and Tasucu; from Haifa, Israel; and Lattakia,
Syria to the
North Cyprus ports of Famagusta and Kyrenia.

of a villa, an apartment or a piece of land with maximum
allowed extension of 4,013 sqm. Offshore entities may also
acquire premises for their business or for residence of their

offer mortgage facilities to assist in the purchase of
property. The loan will be in foreign currency with amounts
ranging from 60%-80% of the value of the property with
