Barbados
remains the most popular Southern
Caribbean destination for British,
North American and European tourists.
Tourism is set to increase by 20%
between 2005 and 2010.
The
Platinum coast on the west of the
Island is the home of the ‘rich
and famous’ whilst the south
is more popular for package holidays.
The eastern side of the Island
is less developed with wild beaches
and stunning cliffs. Inland the
island stills maintains a colonial
feel with planatations and tropical
gardens.
Barbados enjoys a warm all-year
round climate averaging between
75 and 85 °F. The dry season
predominates between January and
June.
Flights are available from most
major airports in the UK and US.
