Estonia’s
summer capital Parnu
continues to become more attractive with
the increase of domestic purchasing
power and new projects arising
for the development of apartment
houses, holiday homes and leisure
activities around the Pärnu
area. On the coast or its vicinity
the price level of new construction
is nearing the price levels of
Tallinn.
The Estonian coast has some historically
well known areas for holidays,
including the islands of Hiiumaa
and Saaremaaand, but on the mainland,
Parnu with its stretch
of white sand beach and
picturesque old town centre, its
the large beach and health resort
town that everyone is heading for.
Always a popular destination for
Estonians and the nearby Scandinavian
population, many more holiday makers
are now discovering this lovely
town with all of the amenities
nearby including theatre, 2 golf
courses, excellent restaurants/pubs,
an acqua park and a proposed new
yachting marina.
Building on a
late 19th-century tradition of
mud baths, Pärnu continues
to cultivate a thriving health
resort industry. Be sure not to
miss Parnu’s new Tervise
Paradiis health resort complex
just adjacent to the beach.
