of many protected plants including
several ancient examples of the
black armour-pine tree.

Real Estate Market
Bulgaria is due to be considered
for inclusion in membership of
the EU in 2007. This, combined
with the removal of certain remaining
constitutional restrictions on
foreign investment in land (due
to its incompatibility with EU
membership) and other factors should
continue to improve the real estate
market’s liquidity and its
activity level.
