Description

Set on the secluded slopes to the rear of the village of Styra, the land enjoys superb sea and mountain views. Comprising a total of 3.500 sq.m. it is within the village plan and can be split into five individual building plots of 700 sq.m. each. The plots are for sale individually although the owner will consider a sale of the whole, or of two plots together.

The slopes are wooded in many places and are criss - crossed with footpaths and old donkey tracks. There is also a need for more holiday accommodation in the area for visitors, who are there mainly to enjoy the tranquility and the beauties of nature.

Evia is the second largest of the Greek islands and one of the most accessible. Served by several ferry routes from the Greek mainland it is also connected to the mainland by a modern road bridge at Chalkida. Evia is an island where the beauties of nature abound. In springtime it is a carpet of multi coloured flowers. It boasts magnificent coastal scenery with small sandy bays and rocky coves nestling amongst the cliffs and backed by the majesty of the central mountain chain.

Styra is a traditional Greek working village with an attractive square, where there are some shops, including a bakery, tavernas and cafes, in fact an ideal place for the evening ouzo. a selection of beaches are within a few minutes driving distance.

A further five minute drive away is Nea Styra with its pedestrianised promenade, lined with cafes and tavernas and where there is a range of shopping facilities as well as the ferry terminal for the ferries from Agia Marina on the mainland. Agia Marina is only a 40 minute drive from Athens International airport and the ferry crossing itself takes 45 minutes. The ferry service operates throughout the year and there are regular daily sailings.
