| Santorini is
located on the southern tip of the Cyclades [view
map]. It is a labyrinth of islands including Thera,
Therasia, Aspronisi, Palea and Nea Kameni.
One of the most cosmopolitan
of all the Greek Islands. It is modern with high standards of
infrastructure and services. The Islands boast
an array of stunning beaches, most
notably, Monolithos, Vourvoulos and Kamari. Beaches are typically
of red, gray or black sand. The Islands are also home to rich
archaeological sites including Akrotiri, and Ancient
Thera. Santorini is reached from most international airports
via Athens.
