Real Estate Investment Trusts May Be Ready to Bounce Back in 2008

If your investment strategy is targeted at boosting returns while building stability in your portfolio, some experts say it may be time to take a fresh look at real estate. Many real estate investment trusts (REITs), investment vehicles that hold shares in a variety of types of real estate companies including commercial, residential and office building management companies, were not faring well during the year of 2007. But some market experts think the stocks of REITs may be primed to bounce back. And history seems to be on their side.
