UK Mortgage Lending Sees Increase in March
The HMRC reported official home sales figures jumped 40% from February to March. A similar positive trend was reported in a 16% increase in month over month mortgage lending, though housing transactions are expected to remain at relatively low levels.

Sothebys is betting that demand for luxury properties in Brazil will grow as the government and banks eliminate the restrictions on lending for property. Sothebys has signed a partnership with Bank Santander to help with financing requirements and plans to open 6 offices.
