Foreign Investors Demand for Property in Hungary sees Significant Decline in 2008
During 2008 Hungarian home sales to private foreign investors decreased almost ten fold compared to the previous year. Where the Budapest market has attracted a majority of British and Irish buyers, foreign investment in Hunary has also seen interest from Spanish, German, Slovak and Romanian buyers.

Hungarian Investors plan Alba Airport for opening in 2010
Reuters reports a Hungarian group of investors plan for an old military airport south west of Budapest near the town of Székesfehérvár. Alba Airport will cater to low cost and charter airlines serving the region.
