K-Asset to Launch 3 Property Funds in Thailand
K-Asset, Thailand's largest asset management company, is aiming to launch its first three property funds in 2007. The company currently manages retirement mutual funds and long term equity funds with 30% and 15% market share respectively. The managing director was quoted as saying that in the current inflation environment, all types of properties, including offices, apartments, hotels, resorts and retail space, could generate satisfactory returns somewhere between fixed-income and equity investments.
