Budget airline Wizz Air is launching flights to Prague from London Luton next month. Wizz Air will operate four flights a week to the Czech capital from February 19.
The airline’s chief executive, József Váradi, welcomed the announcement as a sign of the airline’s continued expansion. He said: “Wizz Air’s opening of the Prague market is a logical and well timed step of the airline’s expansion in central and eastern Europe.”
The only other airline currently offering flights to Prague from Luton is SkyEurope, although Easyjet offer cheap Prague flights from Gatwick and Stansted. British Airways and CSA Czech Airlines also operate flights from London Heathrow to Prague. (flightmapping.com)
