Many real estate investment trusts (REITs), investment vehicles that hold shares in a variety of types of real estate companies including commercial, residential and office building management companies, were not faring well during the year of 2007. But some market experts think the stocks of REITs may be primed to bounce back. And history seems to be on their side.
